A very interesting book, or rather engravings. The first half of this work is essentially a description of the techniques for catching and killing various game. All animals are drawn very carefully. There are various birds, snakes, wild boars, lions, tigers, elephants and dragons, satyrs, unicorns.

Moreover, all these creatures, which are now called "mythical" in this book do not stand out in any way, they are just one of the species of the animal world that are hunted in the same way as ducks or elephants …

There is also an illustration of the battle of the "pygmy" race with cranes.

I found this book in the Smithsonian Library. Section "Biodiversity Heritage Library".
