Recently, a resident of Chinese Qingdao shared a video, which, according to him, was filmed by his friend during a storm that covered the city on the shores of the Yellow Sea. The operator was in the room when lightning struck next to him. The man immediately took out his phone and started filming, hoping that he would be able to capture at least one more discharge. But what he filmed made it to the media around the world.
In just ten seconds, lightning struck the same lamppost about 12 times. The sight greatly frightened the witness. The footage shows how he backed away and, for security reasons, disappeared behind the wall. But even so, you can see how flashes of lightning flash, writes the Daily Mail.
When an eyewitness filmed the video and made it home unharmed, he shared the video with a friend named Qu, who also lives in Qingdao. He, in turn, published the video on social networks, thanks to which it quickly went viral. In the comments, users admitted that the last day of summer was clearly not working out for the lantern.
