Flash floods after heavy rains in Oman caused massive damage. Cars were submerged, houses were flooded, roads were closed, and buildings collapsed as a result of "wild streams" caused by heavy rains.

Several areas of the country have been affected by extreme weather, including Bahla. Heavy rain has also disrupted traffic in parts of Oman, cutting off cities and forcing police to close roads.

Flood waters penetrated the bazaar, flooding narrow alleys and damaging goods, and many people were stranded and had to wait for salvation. In the coastal town, police moved 31 families to safety. The city has received over 100 mm of precipitation, which is higher than the annual rate, and more precipitation is predicted.

The country's meteorological office has warned that unpredictable weather will continue for several more days, and the government has extended the existing order to stay at home.
