The sunspot AR2860 is large, very active, and faces directly towards the Earth. In the active region yesterday there was a significant solar flare of class M4.7, the ejection from which is directed towards the Earth.

If current trends continue, a massive X-class outbreak could occur in the near future.

Earlier, sunspot AR2859 emitted a C3-class flare, which is also directed towards the earth and is expected to arrive by August 30.

Yesterday, on August 28, a geomagnetic storm raged on the earth, the reasons for which remained unclear, but a powerful effect of cosmic radiation was recorded.

The ejection from the M4.7 class outbreak that occurred today will approach Earth on September 1, 2021.
