A resident of Kaliningrad found on his site a bracelet of gold weighing 152 grams, presumably created at the beginning of our era.

The man discovered an unusual object while planting potatoes.

However, unlike most casual treasure hunters, he did not leave the gold bracelet for himself. A resident of Kaliningrad, through friends, went to professional archaeologists.

It turned out that the find has great scientific value and ancient history. Presumably, in the first century AD, the bracelet belonged to one of the leaders of the Sarmatians.

According to archaeologist Konstantin Skvortsov, the found bracelet is a unique find, since there is no other similar find in the region, in the entire Southeast Baltic region, in the Baltic countries.

It is known that the study of the history of the gold bracelet will take about six months.

The Kaliningrader, who discovered a historical value, decided to transfer the find to the state in order to preserve the relic for future generations.

"He (the bracelet - editor's note) can go to the St. Petersburg museum, or the Moscow museum, or, if I'm lucky, stay in the Kaliningrad museums, which would, accordingly, be more pleasant for me. Then the locals could admire the history more and to know that our history already has at least 2,000 years, "said Vasily Babich, a resident of Kaliningrad.

After harvesting, the man plans to dig up the site again.
