"According to the information of the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on September 14 in Russia, forest fire forces have liquidated 16 forest fires on an area of 39 hectares. In Yakutia, 19 fires were recorded on an area of 165 201 hectares. One fire was recorded in Kamchatka and in the Republic of Mari El, their area is 207 hectares and 151 hectares, respectively. Also, fires were recorded in the Tyumen, Orenburg, Novosibirsk regions, in the Altai Republic and on Sakhalin.
813 people, 193 pieces of equipment, two aircraft are involved in extinguishing, another 20 aircraft are involved in monitoring.
The fire hazardous season is open in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The emergency mode operates in one region. A special fire safety regime has been introduced in 40 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
