Two devastating tornadoes swept through Bucks County in just an hour Thursday night, passing through a park of mobile homes, destroying dealership buildings and stunning those who witnessed the swift hurricanes.

"It was a devastating tornado that went through the Faulkner (dealership) area. It looked like a bomb went off," Bensalem Public Safety Director Fred Harran said of the second tornado. He just was gone."

"I've been doing this for 34 years, I haven't seen such damage from a hurricane."

Five people were injured, but officials said there were no deaths or life-threatening injuries. On Thursday night, they were still assessing the damage and did not know how many residents had been forced to flee their homes, how many homes and businesses were seriously damaged other than Faulkner's Toyota dealership on Street Road.

The first tornado was confirmed in Solebury at around 5:51 pm, and the second near Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem at 7:13 pm.
