The children filmed the last trip of a small truck, the driver of which decided to cross the suspension bridge, the only one left in the village.
The incident took place in the village of Uryum, located in the Chernyshevsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The settlement is divided in two by the river of the same name. There used to be a road bridge, but it was destroyed by a flood. While the authorities waited for the water to recede to restore it, a desperate driver destroyed the last ferry used by the locals.
The published footage shows the truck driving decisively across the suspension bridge. The children who filmed the incident on camera assumed a tragic end by making appropriate comments characterizing the intellectual infirmity of the man who was driving.
The bridge sank and touched the water, the cables holding it burst, the car turned over and fell, finally destroying the bridge.
Local residents fished out the truck driver, but his car drowned.
