According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor Alena Popova, their condition is stable, without clinical manifestations and without fever. Both patients were placed in ward-boxes, all the necessary measures and contact examinations were carried out. There is no risk of the spread of coronavirus in the country, Golikova emphasized.
The Vice Premier said that in addition to the border with China, the border with Mongolia will also be closed. Voluntary evacuation will begin from Hubei Province and Wuhan City, where the first case was reported in December 2019. All returnees will be quarantined for two weeks. The Russians who are on the island of Hainan will also be returned.
Air traffic between the two countries is suspended - with the exception of Aeroflot flights to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong and regular flights of Chinese companies, which will be carried out through Terminal F of Sheremetyevo Airport. At a meeting of the operational headquarters on Friday, an action plan was approved to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Russia, which will be presented to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Golikova said.
