Flying cars have fascinated people's imaginations for centuries. Now, it looks like the flying train is no longer a pipe dream, although there is certainly still a lot of work to be done.
A Russian engineer currently working in Turkey recently unveiled his flying train project. Of course, this idea sounds futuristic, but it is not unattainable.
Dakhir Semenov, in question, is far from a newcomer to the world of futuristic ideas. In fact, he has more than once created in his imagination things that have yet to appear. Given all this, the appearance of a flying train on the list of his inventions is not all that surprising.
Although this extraordinary train still exists only in computer form, the day will come when it will be able to carry hundreds of passengers and reach speeds of over 600 kilometers per hour.
Perhaps many people think that such a train should use an energy source from science fiction literature, but this is not the case: it will run on electricity.
Electricity will be supplied through a special cable-wire connected to a source - a monorail, laid from station to station.
We have to admit that most of these vehicle fantasies never come true. And the flying train may well be one of them, since, as they say, it is easier said than done.
Nevertheless, in order for something new to appear in the world, out-of-the-box thinking is necessary.
