33 people were injured, 3 are in critical condition due to a devastating tornado that struck Inner Mongolia, China.
At least 33 people were injured and more than 100 homes were damaged or destroyed after a tornado struck the village of Huhdes in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2020.
Initial assessments indicated that at least five farms and the Swan Lake Tourism Center were severely affected.
More than 100 traditional circular houses were partially or completely damaged.
Rescue operations were immediately carried out. The authorities also created a working group made up of health and public safety departments responsible for resettlement.
At least 33 people were injured, mainly tourists and employees of the Swan Lake.
Three of them were seriously injured, but now their condition is stable after they were taken to the hospital.
