The photo shows curly mushrooms that seem to grow on top of each other. It turned out that this is a leafy tinder fungus, a ram mushroom or a dancing mushroom, as it is popularly called. One of its features is the size and shape. The hats grow, as it were, several floors, the height can reach a meter, and the weight can be 20 kilograms. You can meet such a mushroom from mid-August to the end of September. It grows near the trunks or stumps of oaks, maples, lindens. However, it is quite rare to find a mushroom, and it does not grow every year, therefore it is listed in the Red Book.

Finding a leafy tinder fungus is considered pure luck. It is edible and very tasty, the pulp has a pronounced pleasant smell. It can be eaten both boiled and fried. The tinder fungus grows very quickly, in just 10 days it can gain up to 10 kilograms of weight. At the same time, insects are indifferent to it, and worms cannot be found in it. By the way, once, in 1971, a mushroom with 753 caps was found in Belovezhskaya Pushcha.
