The gusts of wind that raged in the regional center last evening exceeded 18 m / s. According to the press service of the Kostroma Administration, the hurricane caused very significant damage to city communications. In total, the unified dispatching service of the city received 51 messages about the breakage of electrical wires - the lines were cut off both by the strong wind itself and by the trees falling on the wires. The latter, as reported in the mayor's office, counted 18 in the regional center. Three trees fell on parked cars, three more - on houses.
Municipal workers are now dealing with the elimination of the consequences, as of the morning, trees were sawn and harvested at 10 sites. Almost all electrical damage was eliminated promptly - yesterday.
