A live tree frog was found inside the bell pepper. Found a frog in an unusual location in Quebec, Canada. When Nicole Gagnon sliced fresh green peppers while cooking, the last thing she expected to find was a little frog just sitting there inside a vegetable.
Nicole and her husband Gerard quickly placed their unusual guest in a container and called the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec (MAPAQ) to report the find.
“How the frog ended up in the pepper, I have no idea,” says the hostess.
Her son Jonathan confirmed that the pepper, purchased for $ 1.99, was most likely imported into the store from Honduras. Unfortunately, MAPAQ ended up killing the frog while trying to figure out how it got in the pepper, however, it doesn't appear that the amphibian's victim helped solve this mystery.
